Corporate Fun Day

If you’re looking for an impressive and exclusive day out – this is it! A range of activities with something to please everyone, including Battlefield LIVE Laser Skirmish, Clay Pigeon Shooting and Off-road Buggy Racing. Lunch (at extra cost) can be either a buffet, or 3-course meal at the 4 star Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa, at M65 Jct 7 near Blackburn. You are welcomed with hot drinks, fully kitted out and given a safety briefing before being divided into teams that rotate throughout the day, rounding off with tea and cakes to finish. Prizes can be offered to the winning team and highest scoring individual. Start time is 9.30 for 10am with optional bacon rolls, tea and coffee.

Battlefield LIVE: Is as real as it gets. Special Ops Missions include off-roading in the Hagglund BV troop carrier, using Garmin e-trex GPS, radio comms, plus infrared trip mines and Claymores. Free unlimited ammo from a choice of 7 laser guns keeps the action buzzing. Camouflage coveralls are included in your authentic combat experience.

Clay Pigeon Shooting: No need for you to have a shotgun licence on this registered site. With or without experience you’ll find our fully qualified instructors able to provide tips that are second to none so ensuring maximum hits. We’ll run a ‘for fun’ competition - the points determine your team prize. All equipment, tuition and 25 clays per person included.

Off-Road Buggies: Race around our slalom course with a passenger gripping your arm. Or risk it on your own. It takes skill and coordination to beat the clock, so one lap is not enough. It’s so exhilarating everyone who tries buggy-racing wants more!

What should I wear? Sensible footwear is very important. During the winter we advise walking boots or rugby/football boots. During the summer walking boots or trainers are suitable. Bring old clothes – they might get wet and muddy during the activity. Several layers are advisable to allow you to control your body temperature. A change of clothes might be necessary for the end of the day, or bring a bin bag to sit on in your car. Don’t forget some clean shoes to go back into the hotel or drive back home!

How long should I allow for this activity? Morning sessions are 10.00am to 12.30pm, lunch is 12.30pm – 1.30 pm and afternoon sessions are 1.30pm to 4.00pm.

When does the activity take place? Tuesday – Friday, plus selected weekends. Half-day sessions can be arranged and evening sessions are available in the summer months.

Will there be other groups joining in? No. We believe privacy is essential for team bonding and relaxed client entertainment.
