Small Arms Transmitter Receiver (SATR).

January 8, 2010 at 2:30 pm | In kit | 1 Comment

With the introduction of our new S*A*T*R™ system, Battlefield Sports now supports indoor live gaming even better. SATR has a software configured indoor mode than radically reduces infrared ricochets. The ability of SATR to perform global digital radio controlled start, stop, pause and resume means SATR gives the CO additional control to speed centre through put. Indoor gamers love SATR’s key feature in any environment, real time hit feedback via the shooters gun with real time on gun statistics. Statistics includes hits made, kills made and accuracy percent.

Battlefield Club Sessions

September 3, 2009 at 11:16 am | In Missions | 3 Comments

blackburn rugby clubSports Clubs book Battlefield LIVE™ parties at the end of their season not just to celebrate success but also as a reward to players for their commitment and loyalty. Football, Rugby, Hockey and Cricket Clubs visit us throughout the year to sharpen team awareness skills. Players soon learn that successful milsim tactics on the battlefield are transferable to the sports pitch – with great results. Pre-season sports motivation sessions are very popular in August. Winners get off on the right foot. Early booking is advisable for this time of year.

Schools and Colleges include Battlefield LIVE™ as part of their sports and social curriculum because we inspire and energise young people towards achieving realistic goals – and it’s so much fun! After-School Activity Clubs come to us too in the school holiday breaks. End of year parties are in demand in July, especially for children leaving primary school. The best party is on Friday afternoon wearing the old school uniform, with Dads joining in too. White shirts are camo’d up with mud and military style good luck messages before battle commences. What a way to finish the term and say goodbye to being a junior!

Charitable Organisations caring for children and adults really enjoy our affordable Club Sessions. Battlefield LIVE™ is designed to suit people of all abilities, so we have a special 1.5-hour introductory session for less mobile groups. We know that carers or interpreters should accompany some people so they get the best experience ever. Carers can join in the fun for free, instead of being bystanders. Deaf children love adventuring in the woods, and feel safe when we use our visual marshalling techniques. Scorpion and Commando guns with HUD (head up displays) mean players can easily see their lives and ammo in front of their eyes. This is of great assistance to partially sighted or deaf gamers, and very helpful for people with learning difficulties, who can then play independently at their own pace. Disabled gamers often leave brimming with pride at their own achievements, and return for another session.

Disabled gamers get extra help before the session. Please ask for more details or to arrange a no-obligation visit to Battlefield Sports HQ in Darwen.

merseyside society for deaf peopleYouth Inclusion Programmes by Local Authorities in Lancashire offer individualised support packages to young people who are at risk of dropping out of education, employment or training. Battlefield LIVE™ is a recognised activity that inspires positive thinking, and a ‘can do’ attitude. It’s a brilliant stress buster. When it’s ‘Game Over’ everyone wants another go. Battlefield Sports NW works with the multi agency Lancashire Problem Oriented Partnership. Other members are:
