As well as having 3 configurations (read more here) Battlefield weapons feature built in grenade launchers and two sound settings - in standard military mode each model has its own distinct automatic fire sound. Gamers quickly distinguish what they are up against, and prepare for the worst, even when the enemy are out of sight. Sci Fi mode replicates Near Future game styles on Xbox and SonyPS.
Hagglund Bv206

Clothing
We use military grade suits with toughened material on elbows and knees to give high protection from mud spatter and rough woodland undergrowth so gamers can creep around everywhere. Coveralls have handy leg pockets for water rations, and breast pockets for radios.
For the Sniper/spotters we have Ghillie Suits offering full length concealment. Used for Battlefield LIVE™ Special and Covert Ops, these suits come with a health warning - 'You are likely to be trampled on by the unsuspecting.' Even your own men can't find you.
Extras
Battlefield Sports™ Claymore mines activate from 20 metres away by plunger, on a tripwire or by a crack shot. Claymore minefields put the whole team on red alert in our Special Ops missions, that's for sure. These highly effective pressure mines are buried under ground or on tripwires waiting to be detected and de-activated, unless fools rush in... Casualties happen. If you don't disarm within two minutes, the mines fiendishly reset themselves to wreak havoc again. Don't panic - do your job and the troop will complete the mission.
Motorola radios providing 2 way comms for Team Commanders and their front line means troops can be deployed effectively, with opposing forces manoeuvring to close ranks quickly when defences are breached. That's when they remember to use them - Over and out!
